It's been a few months now since I first put this new site together, and I've decided I'm going to change how I do couple things.
First, in-depth news and event posts will ALWAYS go up on Sunday and cover everything happening over the next seven days. This will provide students with regular and reliable updates on what LPIRG is up to. I'll occasionally post articles during the week as well, but you can always expect to see a complete listing of upcoming events on Sundays.
Second, the Upcoming Events sidebar will include EVERYTHING that LPIRG has on its calender as happening 'for-sure' . This will allow students to understand our long-term plans and goals as well as allow more time for event news to filter out. I'd also like to use the Upcoming Events sidebar to promote what other groups - who fit with LPIRG's purpose of serving the public interest by promoting education, dialogue and action - are doing.
