Drop by our office to find out and enjoy a cup of coffee and baking during the hours listed. LPIRG board members will be stopping in throughout the day to talk with students about what LPIRG can do for them and Shelia will be there all day. Bring your own coffee mug!!
Cinema Politica Screening: The Future of Food
7PM, Galileo's Gallery
The first offering in this semester's Cinema Politica series is The Future of Food, an independent film about the prevalence and significance of GMOs in the North American food system today. It "offers an in-depth investigation into the disturbing truth behind the unlabeled, patented, genetically engineered foods that have quietly filled U.S. grocery store shelves for the past decade." A facilitated discussion will follow the film and refreshments will be provided.
